Quasi
Quasi, a young lad not quite over the hight of 5’5, sits closest to me. He has a very defined face with slightly bulging brown eyes and frequently wears a white sweatshirt accompanied with Sketchers. Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a few things about good old Quaz. Everyday, out of my peripheral vision, I see those eyes. Staring. Literally just staring at me. Not looking at anything behind me, not trying to look out a window or the white board, just unashamedly staring at my face. I’m not being conceded, I’m not being paranoid. It’s happening, just straight unbroken gazing at me. Nervously I usually try to ignore it. Never actually have spoken a word to me, even after a few attempts to befriend Quaz, I’m afraid to ask him nicely to redirect his attention.
Today, I’ve decided this is too weird to ignore. So now I’m going to run some trial and error experiments. Stay tuned.
Thursday, October 4th 2012- Math Cl-ass
I’ve been doing a personal study recently, but it’s partially a story as well. I signed up for this math class (which I’m currently I was told was “the easiest”, and in fact it is. We sit at computers and program with this application called “BYOB” (haha). Two days a week I come to this class located in a computer lab on the River Falls Campus. I started to bring my own MacBook because it just made more sense to me. Easy to get homework done, ya know? There are two other students who also bring their own computers, they have their own table at the front of the class room.
This is where my on-going story begins.
These students I started to sit with, Quasi and Loud Snacks (I have no idea what their real names are), I began to observe. From day one, I knew that these two were precious functioning gems of society.
